1. The laurel that I think is my best, best work is my social studies laurel: Let's Go Traveling. I think that I put lots of colorful pictures, accurate information, and it looks very neat and ordinary.
2. My time management wasn't the best. I did almost everything at the last minute, but I got everything in on time except for one.
3. I think that the most challenging laurel for me was my french laurel because I had trouble focusing during classtime, and I got nervous preforming it and forgot some of my lines.
4. Here's a little about all of the laurels that we had to do:
City-state: We created a civilization, complete with a patron god or goddess, a description of the rules of our city-state, an advertising brochure, and a myth of the history.
Author study: We researched an author who's book we'd read in class and write an essay about them. Also, like the city-state project, we had to make a brochure that was basically the summarized version of the essay.
Let's Go Traveling: I made a book that had a summary or a civilization on each page. There were five or more facts on each civilization, and three pictures too.
Zine: We chose a topic and wrote a series of pieces of writing about it.
Math: We did 15/20 pages of a math packet.
Friendship: We interviewed someone who impacted our lives in some way. Then, we turned our interview into an essay.
French: We made a dialogue with a partner that had to have 40 or more lines in total. We had to fulfill 8 requirements too.
Music: We either made a poster with five pictures of five ancient greek instruments and a bit of history on them, or we created a replica (it didn't have to work) and write a reasonable sized paragraph about it. I did a poster
